Bay Motor Works

I came to Bay Motor Works for a second opinion after receiving a large repair estimate from the BMW dealership. I appreciated that, after their inspection, they took the time to explain why the dealership recommended the more extensive repair while also offering a lower-cost option to get me safely back on the road. They were clear that because of the design and materials used in that part, I may still need the larger repair down the road. I really appreciated the honesty, transparency, kindness, and excellent service.

I found them online - I asked for their assessment of an expensive repair that had been recommended by someone else. Will got back to me promptly, I made an appointment, and after taking a look he called to explain the situation and recommended the repair wasn’t needed….. I have a new BMW repair shop now, not just because he saved me a lot of money, but because he was respectful and approachable throughout.

Excellent shop, great service and very fair pricing. Costs for one of the repairs was 1/3 what the dealership quoted. I only bring my beloved X3 here now.

Best place to bring your beemer in SF, bar none. They know what they’re doing and they have reasonable prices. I’ve been for multiple issues and just tune-up. Wouldn’t go anywhere else right now.

Awesome first time experience here at the shop. This place came highly recommended for an alignment on my classic BMW. The team was very accommodating on my request to get me out by noon and truly appreciate them working with me. Thank you to all the staff and hope to see you all soon for additional services!
